ラプソディー・オブ・ファイア(Rhapsody Of Fire)はイタリアのシンフォニックメタルバンド。2006年に著作権及び商標の問題からバンド名をラプソディー(Rhapsody)からラプソディー・オブ・ファイア(Rhapsody Of Fire)に変更した。アルバムの各楽曲はギタリストでありリーダーのルカ・トゥリッリ(Luca Turilli)が創り出す "The Emerald Sword Saga"なる物語に基づいて制作されている。その物語は1st "Legendary Tales"から始まり4th "Power Of The Dragonflame"で完結しているが、その次の作品となる5th "Symphony Of Enchanted Lands II - The Dark Secret"からはその物語の続編となる "The Dark Secret Saga"が展開されている。2011年リリースの8th "From Chaos To Eternity"を最後に、1stより続いていた物語に終止符を打った。音楽性としてはオーケストレーションやクワイアを大々的に導入したシンフォニック要素を多く含むパワーメタル。バンドの中心人物のLuca TurilliとAlex Staropoliは映画音楽を強く意識していると話し、バンドの音楽性を"フィルムスコアメタル"と表している。"Triumph or Agony"発表後よりMagic Circle Musicとの法的闘争のため活動停止中であったが、2009年にNuclear Blastへ移籍し、本格的に活動を再開した。メンバーアレックス・スタロポリ(Alex Staropoli) - Keyboardsファビオ・リオーネ(Fabio Lione) - Vocals オリヴァー・ホルツワース(Oliver Holzwarth) - Bass アレックス・ホルツワース(Alex Holzwarth) - Drumsロベルト・デ・ミッチェリ(Roberto De Micheli) - Rhythm/lead guitar
