ザ・ラスマス (The Rasmus) は、フィンランドのロックバンド。1994年結成。 1995年ファースト・シングル 1st を発売。 1996年にメジャーレーベル Warner Music Finland と契約してファースト・アルバム Peep を発表、デビューアルバムがゴールドディスクとなる快挙になった。その後あっという間に国民的バンドになった彼らだが、ヨーロッパで人気を得るようになったのは4枚目のアルバム Into (2001年) の頃から。 さらに5枚目のアルバム 『デッド・レターズ』 Dead Letters (2003年) にてアメリカで2004年にレコードデビュー、同様に日本でも翌々2005年にレコードデビューとなった。6thアルバム「Hide From The Sun」、7thアルバム「Black Roses」はいずれもフィンランド国内チャートで1位に輝き、ヨーロッパでもヒット。2012年発売の8thアルバム「The Rasmus」も、国内チャート3位と衰えぬ人気を見せつけた。メンバー ラウリ・ヨーネン Lauri Johannes Ylönen - ボーカル エーロ・ハイノネン Eero Heinonen - ベース パウリ・ランタサルミ Pauli Rantasalmi - ギター アキ・ハカラ Aki Markus Hakala - ドラム
