Formed in April 2000.A Japanese rock band, consisting of 5 members including a video joceky. They are recognized as one the pioneers of Japanese post-rock and live performance of synchronization, fused by the session music and videos. In their live performances, they create innovative and very unique sound and space by their original audio-visual appeal.They create and produce music video also and such videos had great reputation even in the wolrd largest digital film festival RESFEST.In addition to the activities as "zezeco", Aoki Robin has participated with various creative activities such as: production of movie music, guest vocal, composing music for other artists such as THE NOVEMBERS, music arrangement and sound produce. Also other than music, he plays active parts as a space designer and an apparel designer.Yutaka Aoki is a member of a rock band "unkie". And he also has joined many music production projects such as MORRIE (DEAD END) solo project, KURO-YUME, LEO Imai, a Higurashi Aiha, etc..He has a wide range of activities such as guitarist, producer, and art work on the CD jacket as well as an illustrator.Kazuhiro Nakamata is a member of "fresh!" and "YakYakYak". He is also a support member of the band for Goto Mariko.Takahiko Akiyama is a member of "fresh!". He has participated with various projects of live shows and music recording such as: Nagasawa Tomoyuki, Sukima Switch , Kiyoharu , KURO-YUME, Kominami Yasuha , NAOTO INTI RAYMI, etc..ZAKURO acts as a visual effects performer in both Japan and abroad with JUNO REACTOR, VIOLET UK, SUGIZO, Cannes MIDEM show over case, GoldenEggs, etc..They have released the original four albums up to today.During their hiatus period since 2004, activity fields of each member have spreaded and attention by people to them is still high.In 2013, they have re-started their activities after nine years.On November 20, 2013, released 5th work book "Untitled".ダウニー(downy)は日本のポストロックバンド。 * 青木ロビン(Vo&G)を中心に2000年4月に結成され、シングル『月宿る善良』でデビュー。作品毎に作風が大きく変わるがその音楽はフィードバック・ノイズや変拍子を多用したサイケデリック、エクスペリメンタル、ポストロック等に分類される。 * 映像担当のメンバーがおり、映像と音楽を同期させたライブを行う。 * またアルバムタイトルはすべて『無題』となっている。 * 2004年12月16日下北沢SHELTERでのライブを最後に活動休止。その後メンバーはそれぞれ別のバンドで活動。 * 2012年6月13日、各メンバーのTwitterアカウントにて、再始動へ向けた曲作りの最中であることが明らかになった。 * 2013年11月20日、遂に待望の5thアルバム downy第5作品集『無題』発売メンバー * 青木ロビン(Vo&G) * 青木裕(G) * 仲俣和宏(B) * 秋山隆彦(Dr) * zakuro（映像） * SUNNOVA (Samlper/Synth)元メンバー * 芳賀庄一郎(Dr) * セバスチャン(映像)
