1990年2月1日生まれの、イギリスのシンガーソングライター。2008年、若干18歳でEMI/Virginと契約を結び、「Alas I Cannot Swim」でメジャー・デビュー。アコースティックギターの弾き語りを基調としたクオリティの高い楽曲群は、10代とはとても思えない深みに満ちており、賞賛の声をもって受け入れられた。以降、「I Speak Because I Can」 (2010年)、「A Creature I don't know」 (2011年）と立て続けにリリースし、ブリット・アワード 最優秀ブリティッシュ女性歌手 （2011年）も受賞 。2013年のアルバム「Once I was an Eagle」は、Arctic MonkeysやDavid Bowie、James Blakeらと並びマーキュリー賞にノミネートされた。
