ディスチャージ（Discharge）はイギリスのハードコアバンド。1977年にストーク・オン・トレントで、2人の兄弟、Terry "Tezz" Robert(ボーカル)とTony "Bones" Roberts(ギター)、Roy "Rainy" Wainright（ベース）、およびTony "Hacko" Axon（ドラム）によって結成された。 バンド名はセックス・ピストルズの「Bodies」内の歌詞より。GIGのブッキングは、当時の友人、Tanya Richが行った。1本のデモテープ「Self Title（後に1977 Demoとしてブートレッグ、2008年に正式にCDでリリース）」を結成年に制作。 ファッション、サウンド共に、当時のパンク・ロックそのもので、当時のセックス・ピストルズ、ザ・クラッシュ、ダムドに影響を受けた。 このメンバーでは、ストーク・オン・トレント周辺でのローカルのギグをプレーしだけだった。1979年に、Hackoが脱退。Tezがドラムに変更、ローディーをしていたCal (Kelvin Morris)がボーカルで加入。 Calが加入し、それまでの曲は全て捨て、曲を新たに書き直し、歌詞はCalが書いた。
