ドラゴンランド（Dragonland 1999年 - ）は、スウェーデンのヘヴィメタルバンド。音楽性はメロディックスピードメタルに属する。2000年以降に現れたソナタ・アークティカとならぶ北欧の新鋭バンドの中の代表格。スタジオ・アルバムは多くの日本のリスナーに好評を得たが、2003年5月に行われた来日公演（MELODIC METAL FESTIVAL IN JAPAN VOL.1）でのライヴ・パフォーマンスには期待はずれという声が多く、今後の成長が待たれる。 2004年の3rdアルバム『Starfall』にてX JAPANの「Rusty Nail」をカバーし、日本語のままの歌詞に比較的忠実なアレンジ（ただしチューニングは2音下げ）という律儀さで話題となった。ハロウィンの「ソウル・サヴァイバー」もカバーしている。同アルバムはオリコン初登場94位。日本国内で徐々に人気を上げ始めている。1stアルバムや2ndアルバムの時期は疾走曲が中心だが、3rdや4thはその疾走曲はほとんど姿を消し、チューニングを下げたメロディック・デス・メタル風のギターと、変拍子の激しい複雑な音楽が中心となっている(しかし3rd収録ザ・リターニングと4th収録のコンタクトは彼ららしい疾走曲)。そして4thでは一部デス・ヴォイスが入るなどして、このアルバムのコンセプトである、天文学をドラマティックに再現した。その後活動が滞るが、2011年に5th「Under The Grey Banner」を発表。健在をアピールした。メンバー * Vocal: ヨナス・エイジャート Jonas Heidgert * Guitar: ニクラス・マグヌソン Nicklas Magnusson * Guitar: オロフ・モルク Olof Mörck * Bass: クリスター・ペダーセン Christer Pedersen * Keyboard: エリアス・オルムリッド Elias Holmlid * Drum: イェッセ・リンズコグ Jesse Lindskog
