ファイアーウインド（FIREWIND）は、ギリシャのギタリストガス・G率いるメロディックスピードメタルバンド。バンド名はウリ・ジョン・ロートのバンド、エレクトリック・サンの2ndアルバムに由来する。ミスティック・プロフェシーやドリーム・イーヴル、ナイトレイジを掛け持ちしていたガス・Ｇが中心になって結成された。メンバーはギリシャ人が中心だが、頻繁にメンバーチェンジが繰り返されている。2006年LOUD PARKでのステージに続き、2007年10月にはキャメロットと共に来日公演を行う。4thアルバム「Allegiance」がアルバムチャートで11位にランクインするなど、本国では高い人気を誇っている。現在のメンバーVo:アポロ・パパサナシオG:ガス・GKey:ボブ・カティオニスB:ペトロス・クリストDs:マーク・クロスディスコグラフィー2002年　Between Heaven and Hell2003年　Burning Earth2005年　Forged By Fire2006年　Allegiance2008年　The Premonition2010年　Days Of Defiance
